World Farm Animals Day (WFAD)
World Farm Animals Day (WFAD), observed on (or around) October 2nd, is dedicated to exposing, mourning, and memorializing the more than 58 billion cows, pigs, chickens, turkeys, and other farm animals who suffer needlessly and die every year in the world’s factory farms and slaughterhouses.
Animal Rights Hawai’i will be observing World Farm Animals Day on Tuesday, October 5, 2010. Please join us for a day of vegan sampling and leafleting at the University of Hawaii Manoa Campus Center.
